06. Kevin

When I was in Toronto on the weekend, I was walking along the north side of Front Street when I heard the sound of bagpipes. Looking around I saw this person, Kevin, playing the bagpipes. What struck me about Kevin was his age, hair, clothing and most importantly, his lip piercing. None of which seemed to fit in with a piper. I spoke with him briefly, learned a little bit about him, asked if I could took a few shots and continued on my way.

Wow i really like that photo! It is really nice to see people my age doing something other than the usual things associated with young people!

Thanks Erica. I agree, everything seemed perfectly out of place, and as such, fit very well.

I love his hair, but the kid can't make birls to save his life.

Kevin and I have known each other since we were wee babies. Did you know that he's really 46 years old?

Posted by: Dan at October 12, 2005 10:56 PM

No I'm not.

Then why do you insist on being called Dad?

Posted by: Dan at October 12, 2005 11:00 PM

That makes no sense.

Posted by: Kevin at October 12, 2005 11:00 PM

Sometimes Dad, the world just don't make sense.
