31. Fireworks over Niagara
For those people who have followed my images over various sites, this may be a familiar photo. Fireworks over Niagara. Shot on film many years ago. I thought it was a fitting image for today though.

30. Morning Grass
I have been working all this week, only having had Christmas and Boxing day off. I work tomorrow as well, then back in again on Sunday. Leanne has been around so I have been a little too busy to shoot. If the weather was better I'd get out, but it really has not been very cooperative.

29. Roots
I have not shot in a little while so I am pulling from the archives today. This is a shot taken earlier in the year with a Canon EOS 1DS MKII. Canon's top of the line digital SLR. Does it make a difference in this photograph? Well, apart from being substantially larger than my other images, no. But the camera was a treat to use! Hopefully I can get some shooting in very shortly.

This is a photo of my brother James taken at our family Christmas party. I have converted the original colour photo to a Sepia toned image.
UPDATE:
I have updated this image. It was originally processed on a different computer whose monitor was not colour calibrated and with software I wasn't fully familiar with. I didn't like it once I saw it on a better monitor. The original can be found here

24. Out of Focus, er, a little fuzzy
I finished wrapping gifts about 11:30 tonight, then shot a few pics to post. Like this shot of the light on my Christmas tree, things are a little fuzzy. To many little corners, small pieces of tape, and bows to keep straight. According to noradsanta.com, Santa was nearing the Florida Coast, so I should get off to bed so he does not skip my house tonight.

23. Light Shades in the Kitchen
Light shades in the kitchen. I like the effect of the depth of field.
This was shot with a Pentax 50mm 1.4 lens and a Canon EOS - M42 adapter allowing me to use my old Pentax screw mount lenses on my Canon camera.

20. Ice Chunks
Ice chunks along the Lake Erie shore. I am not very pleased with this one. The ice seems to be dirty in the photo, but didn't look that way when I was there, at least not like this.

02. Dufferin Islands in the Snow
This is taken overlooking the waterfalls that I showed in a previous shot. The Niagara Parks Commission shuts down the waterflow into the park over the winter for some reason as we see in today's photo.
