31. Oak Hall Under Moonlight
This is a photo of Oak Hall with the moon in the background. Oak hall was once the home of Sir Harry Oakes and in located just above Niagara Falls.
This large mansion is now home of the Niagara Parks Commision which manages the park area near the Niagara Falls, and also a fun little 9 hole, par three golf course.
Across the street is Marineland.

29. Canada Goose
Bird, artichoke, butterfly wing were all guesses I received in regards to my What is it posts over the past two days. Bird was correct. Canada Goose to be exact.
There is a park not too far from my house where the geese, ducks and gulls congregate, mostly to be fed by people I expect. They are generally very docile and calm around people which allowed me to get within just a few feet of them to get the shots for the past two days.
I think I might try the 'What is it' theme again in the future. Thanks for participating!

28. What is this, Part 2.
I'll give everyone another try at identifying, more accurately, the subject of this photo.

27. What could it be?
Any Guesses on what this could be?
On Monday I had a few prints in a Juried Photo show at the Roselawn Art Center in Port Colborne, ON. Two of the three were chosen for display, while one of those two (Yellow Slipper) was chosen as 2nd place in the Nature/Scenic Category.
Both prints will be on display, either at the Roselawn Art Center or the Port Colborne Library.

While out with John on Sunday, I grabbed this photo looking down the tracks at an old railway bridge.

24. Swan in Take Off
This is a series of shots I took of this swan as it took off from a local river on the weekend. I panned across the river to follow the swan as it was in motion then put the images together to create this start to finish composite.

Another beautiful sunrise photograph.

This is another sunrise photograph taken on the weekend.

21. Morning and Two Trees
I love this sunrise. We found these trees a few months ago, set on a small rising hill, exactly what we wanted. Even better, we knew that if we could get them with the sun rising behind them, we just had to wait for the right time.
This was shot about 20 minutes before the sun even broke the horizon.

Another photo of George. This one I caught him mid air doing a headball.

19. George and the Bicycle Kick
I have been playing soccer most of my life. Soccer is played and watched the world over. I took this photo of George yesterday at my final playoff game for the winter season. Won't be long before we are playing outside again.

18. Cat and Rosemary
My cat, who is now 15 years old, when he is not outside doing whatever it is cats do when they are on the prowl likes to sit in my front window and gaze out at the world around him. I couldn't resist this photo of him sitting beside my small rosemary bush. Just prior to me snapping this photo he was looking straight at the rosemary... a much better photo.

My last shot of my now dying tulips. I wish I had composed this photo better than I had.

Another crack in the ice from our shoot Sunday morning.

13. Crack in the Ice
Don't be surprised when a crack in the ice
Appears under your feet...
As soon as I titled this photo, The Thin Ice by Pink Floyd started playing on the radio in my head. Don't mind when it happens with a song I enjoy, such as The Thin Ice, but really hate it when a song I don't like makes it to my internal radio station.

12. Authentic African Mask
Well, I don't know how authentic they are, but these are sold in a souvenir shop on Clifton Hill in Niagara Falls. I am pretty sure Native Canadians didn't wear these...but everything can be a souvenir in Niagara Falls!

10. Tulip #3
Another tulip photograph. The tulip is opening nicely so I might get some more shots of it later today.
Happy birthday Mom.

I like both the softness and texture of this photo. Again, another picture of the tulip I bought last week.

08. Spring Tulip
The small flower pots I bought last week have started to bloom. I was shocked that the tulips actually bloomed, there are 3 bulbs crammed into a four inch pot. As you can see in this photo, the tulip is just starting to bloom.

07. Picket Fence
The weather has been cold and uninviting for a long time. Though I have been shooting at home, I am running out of images to post. I have some flower growing in the front window that are starting to bloom, so maybe I can get a shot of those soon.

05. Wood Duck in Reflection
I think wood ducks are one of the most beautiful birds. Their colours are amazing. This is a reflection of a wood duck.

04. Wedding Collage
Leanne has been putting together a scrapbook of wedding memorabilia for the past year. This is one of her pages including a couple of photos by me in it's their little collage. Art mimicking art?
