30. Tulip
The same tulip as yesterday, only in a different angle.
On a differnt note, last night I attended the Niagara Falls Camera Club annual awards banquet. I received a number of awards, including the McGarry Photo award for Slide of the Year for my shot of an Eastern Tailed Blue butterfly. I also received honour awards in the slide of the year, colour print of the year and monochrome print of the year competitions as well as top in the Gold division for both slides and monochrome prints. Finally, I was installed as the new President of the Niagara Falls Camera Club.

27. Belts
Leanne and I took a day trip to St. Jacob's Market today. I brought my camera along hoping to find more patterns shots among the displays, but unfortunately, there wasn't a lot of repition in the display to produce nice pattern shots. I did get this one just as we walk in though.

26. Dutchman's Breeches
I was out Sunday with Scott and John in a light rain. Once we decided that conditions were favourable for shooting some spring wildflowers, we walked back to get our equipment. That is when is started to rain harder. We shot for a little bit anyway before it got really bad. This was about the best shot I could get off before things became too wet to continue without proper rain gear.

I was out Sunday as I am most weekends with John and Scott. There was a lot of waves at the lakeside (Lake Ontario) but surprisingly little wind. This is a shot of the surf as it crashed that morning.

I was in Toronto last week near Yonge and Gerrard when I saw Jerry playing his guitar. Leanne and I stopped and listened for a little while, then I asked him if I could photograph him. We talked for a little while then Leanne and I continued on our way.

01. Bridal Veil Falls
Niagara Falls is made up of three waterfalls, The most famous is the Horsehoe Falls, sometimes called the Canadian Falls, the American Falls and this, show in pink, Bridal Veil Falls.
