22. Carousel
I was all set to take a few shots around the house tonight after a long day of work, then shopping, then more work, but wouldn't you know it, my media cards are still packed away someplace, so new images will have to wait until tomorrow.
In the meantime, this is a shot of the carousel at the St. David's Carnival last year. This is what gave me the inspiration to shoot the swings at the Ex.

19. Cool Bird
A pattern shot from the CNE last year. I enjoy shooting these pattern shots. I did a bunch of them when I was at The Ex last year, and have done many more previous to that.
I spent most of the evening packing last night. Tonight will be the same thing, though I have to stop on the way home to pick up some beer for those people who will be helping me move tomorrow! Still have some finish coat patching to do, but that will have to wait until I am in. Fortunately, I don't have a lot of furniture yet so I can move things from room to room as I do the work.

18. Dreamspace
Shot while in London last fall, Dreamspace was an attack on the senses. Sight and sound (plus a great deal of warmth due to the vinyl structure in the midday sun) made it a very calming and relaxing visit. I various shots from the exhibit.
The house is coming along. I did a lot of cleaning (and making a mess) last night. Patching and sanding, sweeping. Getting ready for the sunday move.

17. Ornamental Iron
Again, taken in Toronto, the shot itself was uninteresting in colour. I've created the bluish Duotone and played with levels a little bit to add some depth. Still not sure if I like it.
As for the house, I have over 100 new holes in my walls courtesy of the insulators yesterday.

I've been busy with the house. Had contractors in today insulating the walls (sorry for the late post). A lot of patching to do still, and painting this Saturday. Sunday is the big move!
