The chocolately goodness of a Canadian sugary treat. This is my latest entry in the Photo Hunt contest I mention a while back.

    Hi Chris,

I’ve been perusing random months in your collection and your photographs are really inspiring. Thanks for sharing them and also the great tips you give.

Could you tell us a bit about the equipment you use (camera make, model, lenses, filters, film/digital). I see that you some times posted the aperture and shutter speed settings. Could you make a habit of posting this info (and ISO) for each photograph? Much appreciated.

Thanks for sharing your love of photography with us all. Regards,
    Stefan

    Hi Chris,

Love your work….Such versatility. You have an eye for composition and color throughout. I assume you’re in Canada? “Snippets” of info. concerning each shot are interesting.

    Thanks for sharing!
    Angela

I use a Canon 10D for my photos with various lenses and light modifiers. My macros (like this shot) are shot with a Sigma 180 f3.5 macro.

I sometimes include f-stop and shutter speeds though if I am posting in a hurry don’t take the time to look them up. I don’t post ISO even though it is a critical part of the exposure algorithm though I can say that 90% or more of my photos are shot at ISO 100. Most photos have the EXIF information embedded so if you are using Firefox, you can install an EXIF add-on, or view the EXIF information in any other EXIF capable application.

About my versatility, I try not to concentrate too much on any one area of photography just to ensure I stay well rounded.

As for my location, yes, I am in Canada!
