This is another Eastern Tailed Blue. These are very small butterflies, maybe the size of my thumbnail. They move their wings up and down a little and while they do, the tails resemble antenna so that if a predator takes a bite, the only get the wing, not the head.

  1. Hey I don’t know if you remember but I emailed you earlier this spring saying how I’m into photography and wanted to start my own website? Well anyways I finally got around to doing this. It’s just a blog, but I would love if you could visit it and take a look at the photographs I have posted so far. (they’re nothing like yours, but I hope to get a better camera someday and maybe major in something like photography)
