Thank you Justin. This was shot with a Sigma APO 180mm F3.5 EX DG IF HSM macro (read about it here). This is about as close as I can get with this lens and it does provide a full 1:1 magnification. Canon makes a specialty lens that provides 1-5x magnification, but I have very little use for one though if someone were to give me one, I am sure I would find a use for it, funny how camera equipment works that way.
