21. Coleus in Black and White

Coleus in Black and White. This type of plant really works well in black and white I think. I remember shooting them when I first started out in photography. I think they are a great subject for beginners, and a great subject to learn to print in the darkroom with as well.

    Leanne had mentioned that you carry a tripod along and use it for quite a few of your shots. Could I ask you what model you use, and is it compact. I have a cheap compact one that fits into my backpack but it takes a long time to set up. I’ve given up on it and have resorted to carrying my full size tripod.
