There are several short trails that wind through Dufferin Islands in Niagara Falls. This in one of them.

    I love it. Did you use a star filter or how do you capture the sun that way? You can probably tell I have limited knowledge here.

    The star is a natural effect caused by stopping down the lens. What this means is basically as the iris of the lens (the aperatuer) become smaller, there is a greater chance of these aperature stars from occuring. The number of points on the stars relates to the number of blades of the iris for that particular lens.
