I was shooting this for the texture and the shading on the egg, but my egg seemed to show little texture, and having only brown eggs, I wasn’t even getting the effect I was looking for with the shading. Then I saw my trusty duct tape and came up with the idea of ‘fixing a crack’ in the egg.

I’ve done a version in Black and White as well.
